At first we developed this software to monitor our own systems and it has worked so well that we decided to offer it to you. MySolarApp is a Windows PC application that connects via a serial connection, or USB-serial connection to your solar-hardware. Most inverters have the capability to read out the data relating to the power that your system is generating. Sometimes it's directly connected or sometimes via a special hardware device that collects the data.

We initially created the software for the Soladin 600 inverters and now have enhanced the program for the American model of the Outback solar system.

Our early field tests in Florida are with Outback Power Systems GVFX-3648 inverters and Outback Power Systems MX-60 charge controllers that communicate via the Outback Mate, We presently support the Mate with a maximum of 4 inverters and 4 charge controllers. All users of our software will have access to this website to view their own system data through their own personal domain.
